Why did it not shock me to learn that they’d been bought up by an even bigger bully: AuthorHouse? There is not much good to write about iUniverse except that their publishing packages range from $299-$1099. That’s not unbearable in light of PODs that charge thousands more for the same services. The problem is that iUniverse makes profit off the author in ways that no self-respecting publisher should.
