Also strange about Dorrance: if an author’s book sells well, she is not rewarded, but penalized with lower royalties. Go figure. Another negative: Dorrance claims sole right to the book’s production for two years. And if the publisher decides to print another edition of the book, it extends its rights indefinitely. You do not get a vote. Don’t even think about Dorrance if you want a really positive publishing experience.
